As an astrologer, Helena broke out of belief-based trad astrology and adopted a multidimensional, research-based model in the late 1990s. She became a Certified Level IV Magi Astrologer and later Co-Director of the Magi Certification Program, leaving the old Society in 2022.

Trad astrology utilizes a flat-space, one-dimensional model and tiny handful of planets. Helena’s Genesis AstrologyTM uses a multidimensional model [like space really is] and an ever-increasing number of points as revealed in research: classic planets, asteroids, Kuiper-belt planets, midpoints. The current number—not including midpoints—is nearing 50.
